I utilized my vast network and worked like a dog, sifting through balance sheets and charts to find ideas. Post 2008, I started doing it with a click of my mouse.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am talking about The PPT. Quite simply, it tells me when to add weight and when to reduce it.
Observe the overbought/oversold ranges.
If you are looking at that chart ^^^, you will find that we are now in an OVERSOLD state of affairs. We shall, mind you, trade higher and soon.
New all time highs are all the rage these days. There is nothing like trading from atop the summit.

You & PPT have been great at catching oversold (and overbought) opportunities. Out of curiosity, how confident are you that you’d catch a coming bear market–something more than your garden-variety drawdown.
This is a cyclical bull market at worst, so buying every dip has been the right thing to do–Pavlov style.
I don’t trust my quant screens & algorithm to catch a bear market setup, so I have to rely on discretion as much as a “click of the mouse.” I’m asking, seriously, how confident you are in early detection & what you rely on?
I feel like you were increasingly stoned as this entry went on. I agree we are going higher, but is there any actual analysis here? Real traders don’t really give a shit what the market does, we react to it. Also, I’m not following the connection of being stuck in the 80s and trading ability–I bet you are like 22 years old and have never thrown around real chips. You write as though you are even younger.

Well, for the time being, oversold just became more oversold. Which sometimes happens if there is something very bearish going on. But of course, statistically, it doesn’t happen very often. And even when it does, it usually doesn’t continue for very long. The PPT’s oversold signals work the vast majority of the time; as a member, I can testify to that. But no tool works 100% of the time.
So let me show you something important Mr. Fly…judging by that IMMR position you have I can tell you that your nose isn’t covered in zinc any more but instead a fresh, chipotle-fused lather of shit with your nose still in Ackman’s ass whiffing the lost profits on HLF.
