OA what do you think of owning a biotech ETF for people who can’t spend time researching individual biotech stocks? Here is my reasoning behind the ETFs, besides the usual explanation given . Feel free to poke holes: Unlike web 2.0 or social internet, cash infusion and maturity of the company may matter significantly more in case of biotech research. Because the top 10 holdings of an ETF are typically more matured companies with decent cash flow, it reasons that biotech ETFs may be a very good substitute and more so in this sector than others. Thoughts?

No, but seriously, I don’t understand how hard it is to demand segregated accounts. Or at the least, drop the fund in its entirety into the stewardship of a large cap third party administrator.
