The Kingdom of Santa Claus is Triumphant

Let me explain this to you: nothing can stop this market, because all things priced in dollars are under assault. If you haven’t heard the news by now, the U.S. government, through the conduit of the IMF, will backstop the entire continent of Europe, vis a vis trillion dollar loan. Let that sink in for a minute.

Okay, time’s up. This is some seriously fucked up shit and I am sure goes against everything this country was founded on. Forget about your bullshit Austrian economic models. They mean nothing.”The Bernanke” is only interested in Zimbabwe style inflation.  Thinking about where the Dow should be: if the dollar drops by another 40% from current levels, you’d be nuts not to think it will not be above 14,000. Let that sink in for a minute.

Okay time’s up. I am not bullish because I believe the hype, like that idiot on teevee (which idiot, huh?). I am bullish because I have no choice. It’s obvious, the Federal Reserve is going “Lotso” on the world, enslaving people with dollars. You fucking sinners out there, betting on a decline, will be greeted with black flags at your surrender ceremony. We are going “full Dykstra” into the New Year.

In closing, in the future, talking apes will point towards the statue of liberty and say “those people were fucking idiots,” just prior to eating a “trove” of bananas. This is the era of Groupon, where nothing makes sense and everyone is at risk.

Enjoy it while you can.

    Dear Le Fly,

Respecting your space alien magic may I submit by only being invested in the first day of the month, lesser beings could have received returns since March 2009 almost identical to being invested each day with far less risk. Better put, almost all the gains have been contained on March 1, April 1, May 1, June 1, etc.

40% drop in the dollar? If europe cant economically function with the euro at 1.30, how would they do any exports or tourism at euro 1.70?

Look for the Russell to drop around 20 points by friday. In fact, it should drop even faster if jobs number is good ( as it would boost the dollar).

I was mainly kidding. Canada will rise based on somewhat firmer adherence to common sense w.r.t. banking practices, in conjunction with vast natural resources. But the truly developing world, who aren’t involved in this silliness because they essentially have no economy yet, or limited exposure, are the real winners.

Noone talks of this outlier scenario: USA wins the endgame. Although the extremely crowded trade has dollar to zero, put your feet up and imagine what if…

What if the Eurozone slowly implodes one country after another and eventually falls apart as a failed idea. The dollar could be the safe haven and shoot up as a result. As the story goes: “when the bear is chasing the group, you need not be the fastest, just not the slowest. ” Maybe the USD is that refuge when JPY and the EUO aren’t considered safe. Oh, and thus the clam would be correct and take a victory ride down wall street.

Haven’t really switched Jake, just woolgathering. I read an interesting article on BlackSwanI which talked of liklihood of EZ imploding: the irish and Greeks will start throwing cobblestones soon over forced austerity. (Imagine you are a 20 rear old irish son wanting to beginyour life, buy a car etc. Then learn, no you are an indendentured BK slave, must pay tons on taxes, poor wages and less services. It’s gotta make em crazy.) I’m confident that will occur and maybe this will end well for the usa.

Let’s face it the odds are(90%+??) the dollar falls in the long run… but this may take a crazy turn.

The Irish and Greeks will just do what their forefathers all did (like mine did, in fact)…

The will emigrate to Inwood, Manhattan and Astoria, Queens.

God bless and keep those bastards coming. I never liked that our historic brain drain of picturesque old Ireland (and to some extent, Greece) was ending with financial independence in those states anyway. Besides, It’s the natural right of the United States to get every other country’s best and brightest. Haven’t you ever heard of Manifest Destiny? 😉

That “Republican Congress” did not do diddly squat to address deficits. It was
all Clinton-Rubin-Panetta initiatives – and the Clinton Boom- that balanced the budget.
