It appears the market wants to go higher. There is no point in fighting it. However, I am not in the mood to buy stocks right now, so I won’t. If you must be nosy, I am deciding whether to vacation in Portugal, Spain, Italy or Australia. These are very important topics that much be broached at THE HOUSE OF FLY. All things to do with opulence and grotesque decadence are of interest to me. Feel free to offer advice, although it is not readily needed or required.
At the present, I am still in the same old shit, so there is nothing else to chat about.

the flight to Australia is way too long, go to Madrid then on to the beaches in south, great food, wine, the Spaniards are a lot more fun than the Portugese but, they too put out great food.

Marbella, is beautiful as is the entire lCosta Del Sol region. The best way to get there would be to fly into Malaga. If you go i highly recommend an afternoon at Plaza de Toros Marbella (cheering for the beast of course). Rioja wine is wonderful also.

If you enjoy chain-smoking, intoxicated german men wearing speedos and dancing to electonic polka muzak (and i have a sneaking suspicion you do), definitely make it to ballerman 6 on the island of mallorca, espagne.
Having visited all of those places, let me say that Italy is by far the best of your options without a doubt. If you enjoy history, good food, friendly people, art museums, sculptures, and culture. The weather should still be fine, if you want summer like weather you might want to try Australia since it is their summer as you know.
I live in S.D. and since you just visited and enjoyed the lifestyle, Italy would be my choice. The East Coast of Australia is laid back like the West Coast , but your plane trip would make you lose a few days. Melbourne, Sydney, and Cairns (Great Barrier Reef) would be the top spots to visit.
For Italy, North is great including Venice, Florence, Milan, the island of Capri, and Amalfi Coast. Rome has a lot of history and architecture but is not as nice as the north.
Italy, ditto, hands down. Rome is the most incredible city you’ll ever see and I live in NY.

You won’t get a good value at any of these locations with the F/X rates. Maybe if Spain and Portugal Bond auctions fail this week you can get a better deal….Copper in China doesn’t want to go up over 4, fwiw.
well, I am using US copper market price cuz it’s easier to follow…4 seems to be mega resistance over the last five years. LME stockpiles down and pending strike is holding it in backwardation..but China Stockpiles mega high and China wanting to slowdown, just looks ubber weak set up to me, but I am normally always wrong.
I think for copper one must look long term at rate of growth in production vs rate of growth in demand. Doesn’t appear that the price should drop much to my eyes. Not making any more of itm not getting easier to find and barring a worldwide depression demand will continue.
heaterman, Shanghai was the big buyer of it and their stockpiles are so high at this point, too much went into the “china can’t control inflation play” which until I saw the reaction to their CPI, I could not even believe anyone doubts China’s control of anything, but they did.

She liked it but the place is all fucked up.

It rains and is cold in Italy for the next three months unless you get way down in the tip, south of Tropea. Froze my ass off in the diego lands for a month in January-February time.
Fly I have a decadent house in the south west of Western Australia in the Margaret river wine region – see eagle bay. I will loan you for the summer in exchange for a free subscription to the PPT… I hear it is that good!
Fly, if you have not been there, the Huka Lodge is heaven on earth. Lake Taupo, New Zealand. If you’re a golfer 2 great course on the North Is. as well. And a pretty good course 10 minutes from the lodge. Don’t take my word for it, look it up. Best in the world and worth the crazy prices.
In Australia, nothing that I have seen is in the same category. But New South Wales Club is the best golf course in the world. Good luck, mate.
