This is nonsensical. If long-term Treasuries are down on this news, then the stock market should be getting absolutely pummeled.
The Fed buying appears to be directed towards the 2-10 year.
This should bring mortgage rates down some more but will flatten the curve some more and should be bad for banks balance sheets.
Just an opinion.
