Waiting for a rally to put some on with the ViXX I rubbed on at the close yesterday.
I bought some Euro here, with a stop down at 1.2963. Chatting to hedge fundi buddy of mine a little earlier and we talked ourselves in to the idea that Euro can go to 1.400 by Xmas if not a little higher. That’s the trade the market is least expecting and most vulnerable to at the moment.
Given that the Yen trade is over for now because it really does look like the BOJ will be down at the bottom for large amounts the only expression of weakness the Buck can show is in the Euro.
Long Aussie for the duration also.
J, could you elaborate a bit more on the euro thing? Why do you expect it to appreciate?
To be honest, I cannot grasp rationales for moves of this market. Earlier it was partly about human behavior–greed and fear, well, you know it. But the Matrix has got us all. Bots have no soul, they bluntly continue drilling through the dome, and will not stop until they pin us down with their cold iron tentacles. Don’t blame them, for they are synthetic spawns, guided by soulless masters.
