For the last week, oil has been strongly surprising to the upside. Commodity currencies are breaking out from double bottoms (AUD NZD). CRB as well, add a few softs like sugar and mix it with gold. This could be an inflection point where reflation comes back. And the strongest reflation theme has been the spx. Never against hedging, but too early… it seems.
All am saying is there could be some follow thru.

Agreed…expecting a firm kick-ass tone from the Prez as he vents outrage against BP for pHukin up the GoM, but it’s all just grandstanding to get back some of the public support he’s lost. Shouldn’t do much to help rally.
