For the day, as of 3:52pm, I am up 0.6%, led by gains in [[VXX]] . With my cash, as always, I am waiting for an opportunity to buy your margin liquidations.

We had a lot of inflation/USD dilution, then the bailouts, then deflation, and to come – more inflation.
The reverse-engineered M3 is a little easier to follow. The Fed removed this one from public view because it’s too easy to see the manipulation.

For someone who puts all his stock on gold you should be better informed and know that gold is not a commodity but straight up money OF LAST RESORT. Gold is not rallying b/c there’s inflation in the pipeline but b/c the participants fear of an outright COLLAPSE in fiat currencies/these days Euro.
I dispise you as a human being but I am aware that you have kids so I would advise you to get out of this gold business for a while. If not convinced, look at chart of gold of 2008/09 during somewhat similar circumstances as now and you will get the idea.
Than again, I could be wrong and we indeed get a currency collapse and you’d be right, but I doubt it. In fact, I am perplexed that gold is holding so well at a time when it should really be selling off…deflationary cycle (austerity plans across the board, globaly) and rising US$.

You should perhaps explain how a currency collapse and inflation are not, in this day and age, tantamount to the same thing. If you can manage that, your argument would hold more sway over me.
Historically speaking, gold / silver performs well in both inflationary and deflationary environments. You should be more focused on silver, IMO, It performs better than gold.

Fly, I do give kudos on the VXX trade…If only it offered options…think of the arb play between the stock, the options, and the VIX calls…in the end it probably wouldn’t be worth it.
Up 0.2% today…stupid meetings made me miss the turn in the market and I watched the rest of it unfold.
What are the odds I get a third day in a row of 15 minutes up then move down? This feels like one of those times where the market will open down 300 tomorrow and there will be no chance to get in. I hope I’m wrong and will jump in at the open if given the chance.
