Eyeballing a chart of TLT, you can see that there is a seasonal inflection point that occurs in the summer. Generally it’s higher.
I usually piss on charts and focus where the money is going and is not going into TLT……..
Government bonds (of just about any country) are the most hated asset class on the planet. I would feel very comfortable being long the 10 year from these levels, but I prefer to own calls on Eurodollar futures – which will track short rates more closely. This is the only trade has been continually working in the US for the last 3 years. It has been working in Japan for 20 years.
No get rich quick stuff. Just a slow grind higher as time marches on and the Fed/BOJ refrain from hiking.
