With those new “push button” (really retro) starters, people don’t know that they need to hold the button in for three seconds to shut down the engine … I’ve heard that over a certain speed you can’t slip it into neutral to prevent over revving the engine and blowing it up. Braking alone at high speed will not help …. Banzai !

fyi If you have an automatic transmission, many cars can’t be taken out of gear while accelerating.
The gear shift will move but it will stay in gear.

Fly, brother, you missed the correction. It already did done happen. What we have here is just a dip. Just a little profit taking off an overbought situation.
We are now in the recovery after the correction.
Daytrading KRE (small regional bank etf) with some success today on the long side.
If I was a longer term trader I would guess that the banks earnings should keep improving because of the increasing slope of the yield curve.
Unless of course there is no business or consumer lending, which is possible.

Big Mike, while your conclusion may still make slight sense, your logic doesn’t. Torrent will never give Netflix run for its money. Netflix distribution model both online and offline is extremely efficient, effective and designed to produce max revenues.
Shorting NFLX may still hold water for few simply because of WMT eyeing the same market with renewed vigor. That being said, shorting NFLX is more risky than doing nothing or going long because NFLX will and always remain a lucrative acquisition target. Its not a question of “if”….its just a question of “when” it gets acquired.
I was just trying to be humorous…
My real thesis for shorting NFLX is a valuation basis while I also agree of the possible headwinds the business model face.
