Fly, I’m giong agianst you on this one. I did sell some of my puts (mostly the Feb’s) into the small down move this morning, but I agree with dbrades…at 1100 give or take this thing will run out of steam and head south. I will add to my Mar’s (and longer) today and the next few as appropriate, but one way or another we’re breaking down.
You can talk about not day trading, but why hold a portfolio that is going to be down 10-20% inside of a month?! Your trimmings won’t be enough and you will start ranting about how you shouldn’t have been so egotistical, etc…then you’l go through the period of how last year was great and you’re entitled to give some back…and then you’ll capitulate emotionally again towards the bottom…eventually you’ll be back to even but will have missed a great opportunity to make it on the downside and then back up again…the finally you will be up and tell us that you were always winning even when it appeared you were losing.
What in the world are you talking about, Lady? Go drink a cup of tea and go get your hair and nails done. Leave me the fuck alone.

As much as I like your trading style, IMO your weakness is that you take unnecessary risk. Waiting for comfirmation signals instead of creating drama over which way it will turn, seems more efficient and reasonable. Perhaps the drama is intentional, and it sells subscriptions and creates readers… if yes, then continue as usual.
