Approximately 10 months ago, I challenged all iBC bloggers to develop a premium service for our readers, to compliment The PPT. Obviously, as you could imagine, this was a very difficult task, mainly because “The Fly” sets his standards very high.
Using God’s gifts and a little skill, over the past 10 months, Woodshedder has developed an extraordinary trading system, using dips to position into stocks, like Einstein used atoms to destroy Nagasaki. I applaud him for that, indeud.
The result: Woodshedder, in conjunction with the brain-trust at iBC, is proud to launch “The Power Dip System.”
If you are interested in a service that will cherry pick stocks, using historical backtesting, The Power Dip System (PDS) is for you.

big thumbs up
Is the PDS included in the PPT or is it a separate subscription?
Separate, but I believe Fly may be offering a discount to PPT subscribers.
Some kind of combo pack pricing would be nice.
Odds, bodkins!
Verily, you have wrought a systeme (sic) for the gods, Sweet Porthos!
Avant!

You’ve just got to crop your avatar a little better….

In the future, will every blogger have a paid service? ibankcoin will be a paid service too? That will be a sad day.
iBC will never be a paid service.
the problem with paid services are that with a little digging, you can usually find similar stuff without the fees -some chap offering dip buying systems he is willing to share on his blog that gets its money from google clicks….to each his own – if you don’t want ot pay it’s cool – if you do want to pay that’s cool too..there is no one way that’s right, and don’t make anyone make you feel like a piker if you choose not to play…not everyone has buffet’s checkbook…cheers!
not the same. you get what you pay for. This is a quality service for a very affordable fee. try the free trial.
No, it is a seperate system, using backtesting as a predictive indicator.
If all ibc bloggers could produce quality premium products, that would be a great boon for many of you.
Fly,
As I have my money with the Profunds and not an online broker, when I get the PPT for Christmas will I be able to put some of the Profunds sector funds such as tepix, or enpix into a screening engine and generate a hybrid score?
Is that how it works?
Or will I only be able to use the PPT for indexes and large sector analysis?
In another words, will I be able to get a score for a specific Profunds etf, e.g., repix?
On a separate note, I can out bbq wood any day of the week.
Funny. Northerners think that cooking beef, as in steak, is BBQing.
You need to be cooking pig to be bbqing.
and not on a grill. that is grilling. bbq is something altogether different.
Exactly Moobs.
When Fly “BBQs” he uses cumin.
You need a pit, to do it the No’ Ca’hlina way.
_________
And the No’ Cah’hlina way uses yaller sauce. That ain’t reall BBQ either.
At least he’s trying.
Clearly, you are stuck in some sort of culinary hell, where flavor takes a backseat. Cumin is a vital ingredient to any proper q.
Hawaii
We list over 400 ets. Profunds are ranked.
Great!!!!!!!!!
Can’t wait to become a member!!!
Of course bbq snobs will insist on 12 hours of wood smoked meat to qualify as “bbq.” However, I will tell you the truth: they are idiots.
Fly, BBQ is pork, typically slow cooked over hickory.
What you are purporting mastery of is grilling.
I will try cumin on my next steak, and give a report.
I will take issue with your pork-only rule. Beef brisket…hell even bologna can be bbq’d It’s the method of cooking, not the meats. That said, I will agree that pork is the traditional meat.
Cumin is for Mexi, Indian and N. African. I cannot go along with cumin.
Grillin’ with Fly Flay!
cumin, pepper, salt= the trinity of finely cooked steak. For aggressive rib eye lovers, add a half cup of freshly ground coffee, mixed with cacao powder—refrigerate, then grill.
You need a little ground ancho or pasilla chile.
Cumin, onion salt, garlic salt, paprika, a bottle of red wine vinegar, and enough merlot to submerge the steaks. Marinade for 24 hours and then grill on a high flame for a red center. Garnish with arils of a pomegranate or a slice of tomato.
Good steak fixin here
Get your butcher to slice you some ribeyes about 3/4″ inch thick.
Rub ’em down with some blackened steak seasoning or creole steak rub
Preheat pan with about 2T of oil in it till just about smoking
Fry the steaks til personal preference IE rare, med rare…etc
SAUCE
simmer 1/2C red wine and 1/4C cane sugar for 15 minutes or until reduced to desired thickness. Add 1/4tsp fresh ground black pepper and serve over steaks.
Enjoy with copious amounts of your favorite beverage (currently Sam Adams Winter Lager)
None of this cumin shit ……..that ain’t right unless your eyes slant
🙂
fly is spot on with the cumin – natural smokey flavor – that said – too bad about Brittany Murphy –
anybody else catch Nobu giving Bernie cooking lessons on Bloomberg Sunday night? Nothing like a ktichen lava grill…wagyu tenderloin ..ra!
Tip o’ the hat Woodshedder. The exceptional quality of the system is readily apparent in the free trial. [sic] But frankly, I’ll be primarily signing up for the 24/7 Jeremy helpline.
Admittedly my nightlife is very fulfilling; one spent roaming the streets with John Mcenroe, searching for derelicts who just lost their job pushing around little old ladies around from Florida. Now, in between juicing burlap sacks full of oranges on the gutter-folk, I can ring Jeremy at 3 in the morning and “throw ham slices at him through the airwaves”, whatever that means.
lol…Yes, poor Jeremy, forever tethered now to iBC helpline…
Not many here truly understand how the invisible hand of Jeremy guides iBC.
Thanks Charlie!
Exclusive interview with Jeremy, “help desk maven:”

Funny stuff DPZ, LMAO at the ID 10 Team!
I once spent a very funny night with John McEnroe at a tiny little bar on 91st street. This place was as big as a postage stamp. He tried to pick up my GF (now my wife) that randy drunken bastid.

Clever, you found the one person on the planet who could make you appear relatively less obnoxious in the eyes of your bride to be.

Nice zinger
He found us, actually. He’s from one town over (Douglastown) originally, so you may be onto something (acorn, blind porcines, etc).
Everyone in Lawng Island is obnoxious like me. How do you think we snag the South’n Belles?
(Hint — it doesn’t hurt that they don’t dig Socialists from Mass, either, Dukakis)

I want to subscribe. I’m a member of the PPT and the subscription window is not letting me take the free trial using my PPT user name or email address. Can this be resolved, please? The PDS is the system I want to use.
Would this be a job for super Jeremy, the help hero?
Hi Lydira,
The two services are separate, so they can’t actually “see” eachother. That is to say, even if you have an account with The PPT already, you still have to register an account on The PDS (Power Dip System).
Despite this, we will be issuing one-time 10% rebates to current PPT subscribers who sign up for the PDS.
Thanks,
J
Ya know, this would be a great time to give the ole boy a call.
lol…hell, I’m still up, but I would be of little help in this matter.
Wood, congrats on the PDS.
Thanks Jim!
IBC Testimonial: Ever since I started following IBC and brushed my teeth 7 times a day with the Pulsar toothbrush, my returns have increase 3 folds. My equity curve is at all-time highs and my teeth are sparkling white. Thanks IBC!
Looks like the PDS has its own brand of space alien magician action built in. This mornings 5 picks, ELP, QTM, GES, HS, CLX all gapped up and hit the predicted exit point within the forst 15 minutes of trading.
Very nice indeed.
Buffalo Wild Wings Started At Buy By Feltl & Co – I called a buy on Friday (and bought, heavily)
loving my AA here…..
and we here in NC are the BBQ world masters, let that be known.
what do you guys think of CGA at the moment?
Ag took a serious beating last week so I exited
GS upgraded major names in the sector so it’s on fire today
I prefer oil/gas here
don’t know much about CGA, my three favorite letters remain LED, a sector which seems to have a consistent bid in the sector—if the demand stays as predicted some of these stocks may keep moving higher–cree, veco, aixg, rbcn…..because Veco did not give guidance they have the most potential to surprise (up or down) when they report, but I think the shift to LED is going to be real and strong.
does the PDS rate stocks on an ongoing basis or does it trigger on individual stocks after a move? For example, if I put in cree would it say good candidate for buying on dips in future or would the name cree pop up if it dipped by a certain %?
thanks and congrats on the new product.
thanks
actually, I just clicked through the link and saw how it works. Impressed.
Thanks, didn’t know they upgraded the ag.
TSO & WNR – what did I tell you, mooks??
unable to register for Double Power Dip. Have been sent 2 passwords, neither of which works. Please advise.
Russ,
Feel free to email me at jeremy { at } ibankcoin dotcom
Same here….seem to be in some kind of endless loop of requesting passwords, getting them, trying again, denied …etc etc. Must be FTK’d for Christmas.
