The Keurig Will Save Marriages

I was at dinner with a couple today who disclosed their early morning quibbles. She said “he just sits down while I get the kids ready for school. It simply isn’t fair.” He retorted “She makes me coffee and then complains when I sit down to drink it.”

“The Fly” queried: “Why does it take so long to drink?”

He responded: “I have to sip it slowly, since it’s so damn hot.”

PRESTO!!!!

With a grin on my face and a chest full of pride, I interjected, saying: “I got the answer people. Do yourselves a favor and buy a Keurig, so that he can make his own coffee and drink it right away, since it’s served at a comfortable 192 degrees.”

The charming couple looked at each other and said “that sounds fantastic.”

From the luxury of a five star restaurant eatery, “The Fly” saved yet another marriage, by way of a subtle and helpful Keurig coffee machine recommendation.

Hello Neighbor. Mrs. Steve and I saw you and Mrs. Fly at Papaya King tonight chowing down on some dogs and drinking what looked like Blue Papaya. We didn’t want to disturb you because you were with another couple and appeared to be engaged in conversation about coffee and marriage therapy.
Next time try the square knishes with the dogs.

Had Knishes from the Kosher Deli in the Lake Success Shopping Center when I went home for T-day.

There is nothing that beats those knishes, I will have you know. Get the “baked” ones, too.

I believe mrkcbill has already participated in this form of counseling, showing once again his prowess and being in the forefront of critical trends…..Steve, Kaiser the dog was over at your house while you used your coupons from the Sunday Times at Papaya King.

I think I’ve gone thru 20 of those little jiffy cups in two days.

I like Newmans Own and or Caribu bold. Medium brew is best.

I wish I could still believe in charming couples, maybe then I could believe in Keurig.

OMG, maybe we need a Keurig? Do you think?

Master Mustard. Come pick me up. I will be behind Fly’s house as I had to sneak out of the window when Steve showed up. Their poodle is hotter than Tiger Woods 4th girlfriend. And get my T-Bone ready and make sure it is rare this time.

Kuerig may save marriages but only when we start making stuff like that here in the US will this country be out of the wilderness it is currently wandering in…. along with stuff like work boots, machine tools, and the clothes on your back. Without that “recovery” will not happen. The O man, having never held a real job or produced anything of tangible value in his life, does not realize that simple fact. He’s a lot like Albert Gore that way.

He’ll only have to pimp his wife out once or twice (depending on her butterhog ratio) to pay for it.

My friend’s wife has one and recommended it to me. She drinks coffee daily, but the husband doesn’t. They have 4 kids. Although, she stated the coffee wasn’t superior in taste, it was VERY convenient. Quick and efficient.

These k-cup jawns are fucking gold, gold I say. At my last job we had one of these things and we burnt through these cartridges like Jared from Subway drunk at a golden corral seafood buffet. The next logical step for this company is figuring out a way to get a piece of the bottled water empire. Imagine that, they could sell water and k-cups to douchebag sophistiqués living in the fucking stone age with their french presses and perrier cat piss. They should make a version of the Keurig that plugs into your car so that obese slobs can get their brew on en-route rather than overexert themselves trying to extend their hands above their shoulders trying to reach the filthy cashier at the dunkin’ drive-through window. Better yet, they could single handedly revitalize Ford by incorporating Keurig capability into the über-gimmicky Sync system to expand on the array of lame-ass clever features serving to distract people from the fact that their car is still a hulking piece of shit. Partner with XOM to restock the coffee supplies at the pump to ensure a seamless delivery system. The possibilities are endless…..

    FLY:

Question on this coffee thingi. Why is the Kerig much more special than the Nestles contraption that also uses satchels other than the fact that Clooney isn’t advertising it, which as to be a winner.

It seems to me that they both do the same sort of thing and as far as I understand it the Nestles machine is available in the US.

if D and D were available might try the K-Cup. The cuisinart timed grind and brew still a treat after all these years.

Bernanke may let us know this afternoon that the reflation trade is still in place. Looking for a Ben led reversal today in dollar and gold, hoping I am right that Bernanke remains petrified of deflation, wants to avoid the GD pattern of a new low after a year of good market gains, and believes some housing inflation is just what the PhDs ordered.

OT–someone on ibc assigned me this frog avatar, I realize could be a lot worse.
Any chance your tech guy I could please change it to a photo of Earnhardt Sr’s 3 car, a Florida or Duke logo, or perhaps a photo of the Wild, Innocent and E Street cover album or one of Alexandre Dumas?

    thanks

    More anecdotal K-cuppery….

Ran into 3 relatives at Thanksgiving that have Keurig’s at their respective offices. Employees love them, no running out to starbucks and spending loads of money, etc.

The best bit….all 3 of them (people who’d rather take a kick in the junk than shop) also purchased machines for their homes as well.

“Mercedes-Benz sales in China almost tripled to 8,700 vehicles, surpassing growth at BMW, the world’s largest maker of luxury cars. The Munich-based manufacturer of BMW and Mini vehicles sold 8,470 cars last month in China, said Markus Sagemann, a spokesman.”

Is it Wrong to hit the Bong and listen to a few Songs, while looking at some chick’s Thong, thinking about how she can work with the Long Dong? Brewing k-cup coffee, wondering if kim Jong knows that devaluing currency is Wong. Thinking about making money off of Chinese agriculture and then cutting out – as in GONE.
