10:15 Novavax likely in partnership discussions for H1N1, says Oppenheimer
Oppenheimer said Novavax is likely in partnership discussions to help fund the Ph. II H1N1 trial. Shares are Perform rated.
Oppenheimer says they visited NVAX and met with senior management on the 14th and toured the company’s manufacturing facilities. They believe the next 12 months will be critical for NVAX. The ph.II H1N1 study could validate NVAX’s ability to rapidly produce vaccine in response to a pandemic, and potential pandemic influenza vaccine approval in developing countries would test NVAX’s ability to scale up manufacturing. Additionally, they believe data at IDSA late-Oct could demonstrate differentiated aspects of NVAX’s VLP technology. Firm says shares have pulled back to levels that—should the company be successful— would not fully reflect the value of its clinical programs and technology. The firm also says NVAX appears to be in partnership discussions to help fund the ph.II H1N1 trial. Based on management’s comments, their impression is the partnership will be with a company or government, likely in a developing nation, where H1N1 vaccine supply is unavailable and the ph.II trial could be sufficient for commercial approval.

GS doesn’t have issues with foreclosures and if not for an accounting transfer Citi would have had a bigger profit. Meanwhile GS’s result was simply splendid.

Foreclosures is the last part o the action to hit a banks result as they would have provided for the lions share of the provision by then.

I’m long Aussie and long Aussie against Euro and have been for a longish time. Look the momentum for the dollar appears weak but i honestly can’t pull the trigger by going long Euro or yen against the dollar as I really think those two currencies are a piece of shit.
I truly hate yen, i think the yen belongs at 150 rather than here as the economy is fucked. Europe is not much better either in lots of ways.
Those two places need a currency deprecation of substantial magnitude but it’s not happening at the moment so I’m staying out of those and sort of betting against them with a short Euro against Aussie which I have been carrying since 1.7800ish
Yeah an accounting transfer! They all way they are able to survive is the shell game of accounting transfers they play. C is a failed institution being proped up buy the government so that they don’t piss off the Prince in saudi.

Foreclosure notices were up 5 percent in the third quarter from the previous quarter, and up 23 percent from the same quarter a year ago, according to a report released by foreclosure tracking Web site RealtyTrac.
Meanwhile, bank repossessions were up 21 percent in the third quarter from the previous quarter.
“It indicates that more homes entering foreclosure are going back to the banks instead of being resolved,” said Sharga.
Maryland jumped to the No. 10 spot after foreclosure notices increased 200 percent in September from the previous month.
This just shows that the credit losses will continue and the shell game of the suspension of mark to market will be a disaster. The wool is being pulled over the sheeples eyes in more ways than one. There are storm clouds a brewing
