My TEKELEC [[TKLC]] position is afloat this morning, thanks in large part to a late Friday afternoon Cramer “pump-job,” not to be confused with the ever popular blow-job or ominous horse kick to the chest routine. As predicted, the market is taking a breather, down almost 0.7%. From these levels, I expect the market to trim back another 3%, then lift the fuck off again, just in time for a “HALLOWEEN SURPRISE” (whatever the fuck that means).
As a writer, more specifically, a blogger, words just come to me, similar to how accurate stocks reach my frontal lobe.
While most of you schlep around your neighborhood, with “SAY NO TO OBAMA-CARE” signs, “The Fly” is making more money than God. Yes, indeed, a very bold statement, if I might say so myself.
On dips, I like General Cable Corporation [[BGC]] and Sonus Networks, Inc. [[SONS]] . On rips, I will sell out of Flotek Industries, Inc. [[FTK]] (north of $3), TEKELEC [[TKLC]] (north of $20) and DryShips Inc. [[DRYS]] (north of $10). Essentially, I am chilling the fuck out, blessed with a 30% cash position and year to date gains upwards of 75%.

To celebrate this huge breakdown, TIM has put on no less than 30 new short positions this morning.
Somebody simply mentions his name and I instantly get this burning desire to excoriate him. There are two things that I noticed since Friday that graduate him from a PHD in buffoonery to downright dangerous if there is still anybody left that regards him as anything more than entertainment.
On Friday he posted a video from some person/people touting retracement levels as a way to trade without stops because the statistical likelihood of breaching one could be measured by their product. They talked about how you needn’t have any worries because each time the market broke you could simply average down with confidence at each level. So the takeaway is trade without stops and average down into a loser huh, how about I just take my protective cup off and you can kick me in the nuts right now.
Today he has offered up his own tasty nugget (that’s butt not gold) saying : “My point in all this? I am focusing on individual positions much more than the indexes. I called for 1050 as the counter-trend top, and we’re there. I played that rise very poorly, and I believe I’ve learned lasting lessons from that experience. But…..now that we are at these levels……I remain vigilant and optimistic. Because I can, in fact, remain solvent longer than the markets can be irrational, and when they become rational again – whether it’s Monday or next year – I will profit handsomely from it.”.
My takeaways, even he knows what an ass he sounds like continually beating the drum of lower equity prices so he’ll shift to gold for a minute and hope the scent of failure abates. The only lesson he seems to have learned is stubborn persistence is the way to profit, I’d say that’s a sure way to spend most of your investing career trading baboon-ass in the red. Go ahead and average down into losing positions on the premise that you can remain solvent longer than you can remain wrong. Take small profits and huge draw-downs, that’s the way to do it…..
