I took a look at the insiders BIDZ buy/sells. The CEO and the CFO have been steadily selling 10,000 lots for the past few months. I think the 3.50 lot I bought was either the CEO or the CFO selling to me and the sell was in competition with those two doofuses… hahahhahahahahaahahaha

If oil does “skin the shorts alive”, might that not bode ill for TSO? The presumed thesis was that TSO would benefit from:
a) higher gasoline demand via an improving consumer/economy
b) lower crude prices (cheap raw material)
c) ragnarok hurricane (wildcard)
The economy clearly ain’t getting better, and if you’re counting on oil going back up as well, where exactly is the upwards pressure for TSO supposed to come from? The wrath of god via incelement weather?
Incidentally I think you’re right about the dollar vs. commodity play… for once I did the right thing yesterday and closed out my short oil positions and bought up natural gas demoninated in $CAD. Also bought up some more REE shares by way of Avalon Rare Metals (up 20% today wheeee)
