The ISM services report came out and beat expectations. It’s lobbed itself and at 47 which is 3 points away from signaling expansion in the services sector. This isn’t a bad result.
I don’t think buying is the right thing to do, specially with a bearish gap opened today.

Actually, I might argue on the bearishness of the ERX chart, it is a gap after a previous gap which could be viewed as an exhaustion gap which would be bullish. Short term at least. I know Fly don’t like da charts but I thought I would throw that out there.

I’m becoming a little wary of the oil situation here.
Intense idiotic CNBC bearishness is a good contrarian indicator that oil will spike, soon.
But my feeling is that all this CFTC/ Carl Levin bullshit has caused traders to jump out. When the government attempts to mess with something, usually everyone goes away (i.e. equities oct-march). Maybe this needs to blow over (and it will) before oil can leg up again.
