So Mr. Fly, do you ‘maintain’ the rally will continue ?
apparently you dont realize that those markets pretty much follow our market. notice how ours was up today and futures are relatively flat….. you shall seek carnage in the morning and for a while for bulls.
They are just copying our rallying LIKE ALWAYS. It must be really annoying for them to trade the market there.
The tiny cubs have really been de-balled in Asia.
It’s awful.
It’s like watching the baby seal clubbing Canadians do for sport each summer.

Nice J..I don t sleep much anyway so now I can count clubbed seal cubs..well I agree with your sentiments but at what point is harvesting cute animals of any species OK?. It s a shame coon skin isn’t in vogue any more..plenty of useless skins around..no more davy crocket
I’m not being judgmental on what Canadians do for their summer vacations, Maelstrom.
I’m just using the image to represent what’s happening to the shorts in deep and dark Asia.
NEVER use the word “maintain” when addressing me.
Josh
Thanks for the financial advice. I really needed it.
I continue to maintain that Josh is 13.
And that he derives his chart projections by means of belomancy.
Don’t ask, just look it up.
_______
J..good visual representation for your point
Thank God someone is up..someone start a thread, on any subject
Dalmatians maintain the constrained plantains on the mountain, which explains why trainable Iranians obtain the strain.
The answer to the question in this hermetically sealed envelop is:
The S&P 500 by the end of May
The Beginning of The 11th Century & The Second Millennium
Josh’s BS Internet Brokerage account balance
and the question is;
Name three things that have the number 1001 in common.

Hi-
Larious.
Pluck Off!
Fly being a long time follower of yours I think I understand you more now. The more posts you do, the more human you become to all of us.
Yes you are the best when it comes to blogging and outperforming everyone in the market. Right now I think you are reaching, stretching, grasping for the market to go higher.
You have admitted on your own that you think the market is on thin ice. You are long right now. You are not hedged. So usually you are not biased. Right now you are biased to the long side, even thou the facts look like we have a tiny bit more downside.
Fly tomarrow we expect to be acknowledged about being correct about being bearish, and for you to commend your loyal followers.
Oh who am I kidding? You will mock us and take away our manhood and somehow be right in the end even thou you may be absolutely wrong.
Pete
I do not feel 100% about being long. But, I don’t feel the short side either. Hence, I am just waiting for a move.
I remain 35% cash.
naah its not that bad, you SOX leaders though have been taking on the chin lately.
A veritable think tank/brain trust is in the making..I can feel it…Good night guys

Where is Mr. Pony Tail on vid. I’ve been looking for the idiot over the web and couldn’t find him.
Thanks for the support you Fuckin Pikers.
On another note. I sold all my XOMA last night after hours between 1.20 and 1.48
XOMA was a simple case of “Better to be lucky”
Plain and simple it was another beat up sub dollar biotech play. Fly screened it the day
some biotech was up 800%. It was on a list of a dozen biotech plays that could explode. I found some weak resistance and thought it could trade up to a $1. The news that drove it however I never could have know about….. Thus “better to be lucky”
Where to from here?
Haven’t a clue. I know I’m up 54% YTD and I don’t want to blow it. Other than that,
anyone got any good Ideas for the day?
HIG…TARP money
more Treasury fuckery
Yeah Henry if you want more excitement. Roll the dice a little today and play with some at the money front month puts on the SPY today. It is like casino gambiling but it could be fun
Henry, you had me at SWHC.
“Bloomy is a Boss” Indued
Fly do you have an escape plan from NYC. You’re always welcome here in KC….a lot easier to Milk The Farmer here.
This Auto stuff is trippy shit….trust me.
The 3 trill in M.Market is not itchin to get back in the market..it just wants to know what the rules are?

Ag plays are the play for the week.
MOS MON POT AGU etc.
funny how it works, the slightest hickup in feeling good (past 8 week rally) and then people start to feel like everyone will starve…

anyone here shorting the shippers? or working some sort of play around the story.
I see that the asian shipping industry is just about at a standstill. over 1000 ships currently at anchor around various locations sitting idle.
comments welcome on this matter.

XOMA
Xoma has entered into a definitive agreement with an institutional investor to sell 11,764,706 units, with each unit consisting of one of the company’s common shares and a warrant to purchase 0.50 of a common share, for gross proceeds of approximately $10M, before deducting placement agent fees and estimated offering expenses, in a “registered direct” offering. The investor has agreed to purchase the units at a purchase price of 85c per unit.
Artist:
the story has been out for a long time. This past week I was looking at a photo essay in an Aussie newspaper on all the ships quietly docked in S’pore harbor.
Don’t you think the market has more or less discounted all the bad shit?

NG looks great.. Full Disclosure I’m loaded with NG.
Hey Henry,
Are you still keeping an eye on ILMN?
Just wondering . . . .
ILMN on a back burner watch list. I have no position.
J, it is baked in for the moment, I’m thinking about this continuing for weeks and months. It has to hit the bottom line and balance sheets for next quarter.
a compnay can only sit idle with no income for a short while.
I’m looking out over the rest of this summer with this story. DRYS is up today, but day to day and people jumping in for a short day trade on news they have postponed bankrupty for another day doesn’t bother me.
Artist:
The 52 week high was $116 and now it’s trading at 7 bucks. If the story is baked in as we agree the risky trade is shorting that shit.
NG is interesting on the chart. because there is no logical overhead resistance till $5 – $6 should it blast through $4
maybe valuation but I don’t know from valuing a gold miner.
for those of you interested in the backstory of NG. higher future prices are predicated on Russian control of the pipelines and higher price moves are related to greater russian control.

It’s relatively simple, from a trading standpoint. Think of all miners as leveraged off the price of energy (negatively) and the price of gold/silver/whatever. Then you figure out what capacity and supply look like going forward (for the precious, capex has been woeful, and new supply will be very slow to come on line).
In the current market, the miners have lagged the POG because of the energy and recession fears. From a strict reversion to the mean standpoint, they are still well underpriced.

Don’t forget Jacksonian Core Holding ANDE.

I really can’t figure that one out. It’s not as though gold has been a one hit wonder as it steadily risen since 2002ish, yet we haven’t seen any material increase in production.
I found a “Fly Classic”
“The Fly” is heavily caffeinated this afternoon, by way of large cups of coffee and small tins of energy soda”
:clapping: 🙂
Henry:
NG does not show their reserves. NXG shows “total proven and probable reserves of 1,278,599 ounces of contained gold, with a further 11,232,050 ounces of contained gold in measured and indicated resources and 2,183,850 ounces of contained gold in inferred resources.” So I can see the value change for NXG
Just bought the second load of MON right here.
Henry Fools pick of SFLY is now, as of today up 100% since he called it, now at 14.28
Breakouts, and handgrenades…here are 2..
EDGR..breaking out on heavy volume.
STEM..close..
note..banks are still fucked.
wish I still owned it Artist…. Wait no I don’t! I used proceeds to buy other shit that went up what do I care. I’ll care if they get bought out for $25. Then I’ll be really fuckin pissed.
Bernie Madoffs credit card statement.
Slightly slower action but I bought a decent chunk of GAIA yesterday around 5.50.
Anyone get their catalogs? Gaiam anyone?
While looking for beat up retailers, and thinking about pent up spending that could occur for outdoor home goods/landscaping stuff. I witnessed my wife rifling through and earmarking pages in the recent Gaiam catalog. I checked their chart and I see a beat down retailer with little overhead resistance in the way of volume all the way up $10
currently @ 5.50
Has anyone found Captain Small Caps, yet? He stole the goodies and bounced. All these garbagio stocks you guys put up have shitty volume. And y’all laughing at the Fly’s impeccable pick of FTK. With undue respect, y’all apologizsize to my boy Fly.
Fly, cashmere ,deud, bro.
I just threw 1/4 of my NG @ 3.72 on the fire but I think it could take a stab through $4 @ some point today. I’d unload a lot there!
I feel mucho conviction that NG takes $4 here
I know this because I want to buy back my shares here @ 3.67
I wont but that’s how I know It’s gonna run!
Margaret Brennan looks hot with the gun… Best quote: “Either way Obama is great for gun sales.” I love it.
This guy gets it IMO
“We’re in a complete mess and the consumer is smart enough to know it,” says Davidowitz, whose firm does consulting for the retail industry. “If the consumer isn’t petrified, he or she is a damn fool.”
As for all the hullabaloo about the stress tests, he says they were a sham and part of a “con game to get private money to finance these institutions because [Treasury] can’t get more money from Congress. It’s the ‘greater fool’ theory.”
“We’re now in Barack Obama’s world where money goes into the most inefficient parts of the economy and we’re bailing everyone out,” says Daviowitz, who opposes bailouts for financials and automakers alike. “The bailout money is in the sewer and gone.”
CAP…that made my day. Shit I’ll bet Gates and Buffet don’t spend that much in 2 years combined.
This message is to WTF:
I will be away from my trades, and the blog for a few hours while I attend to my estate.
As well I may make time for some medicinal relaxation while I’m out in the warm moist spring air.
Toodles
That felt like someone took their bids and went home angry.
I got bad juju.
Hey, have you heard much about this:”… both the Germans and Persian Gulf states have demanded the return of all gold bullion held in the United States and London. Pressure is on the Commodity Exchanges in New York and Chicago (COMEX) and the London Metal Exchange (LME).”
Consider the source of course: WillieWired?
NG.to at $4.20 CAD as I type. Time to Boke a Smole!

Right, and Nixon blew up Bretton Woods because… he was feeling “impish” that day?
You currency traders should be wary of falling in love with your bullshit product.

I agree *checks and double checks, then checks again* with Jake (I agree with Jake?).
Way to bring Nixon in on that one Mr. Gint. You all can thank ol’ Tricky Dicky for turning the USD into nought but a paper promise with the moniker of some second rate italian car company.
HenryTheFool,
“Medicinal relaxation” “in the warm moist spring air”? Does that mean you’re going to take a dump in a bush?
I ask only because you made a point of personally advising me of this and same is similar to your post of a few days ago in which you regaled us with the fact that you were taking some medicinal digestive for constipation.
To all those who would take up cudgels or socks filled with soap against me in defense of the elderly Fool, please note that I have not been on the boards all day, much less posted anything against the old Fool. But since he wants to play, I will respond, and none of you loser Confederates (gaptooth and nickel cigur) have any right to protest.
Oil getting deballed in WTF trading….
Well, to be fair, the whole cycle was started when the ManGod of the Dems, FDR, took us off the gold standard in the first place… and then barred the private ownership of gold!
At least Barack hasn’t gotten that jiggy with it, yet.
But hey, ole FDR probably just barred the private ownership of gold because the Fed has NO PROBLEMO giving back stored gold to whomever wants it back…
(insert eye roll)
