I admire your resolve, but you have got to be in the house of pain. No bullshit. You are getting pounded and even the coolest trader feels it when your balls are getting roasted. I know because I have been averaging into SPY (short) since 800 and it sucks. I am not down terribly because I have had some longs to buffer me, but….it sucks.
There is no way you can be as confident as you portray. We are both in agreement that this is a government sponsored rally. Having said this, who the fuck could possibly feel confident betting against an entity that doesn’t have to play by any rules. You and I are at a huge disadvantage.
Do you REALLY think that the government would release terrible “stress test” data? Think about it. They are going to say everything is peachy in the world of finance. There is no combating that. You will lose and so will I.

Fly you spoke previously how such a fucking parabolic move down is a huge shock to the market which badly disturbs it. Does the same apply in the opposite direction like we are seeing? Meaning the faster and higher we go the worse off it is?
The Fly says flip that stock. EDC was the winning ETF today. The DOW moved up 50% in 1954 – a recession year – recessions are good.
If we close above ~893 we’ll be above the upper 2SD Bollinger band. This used to be a continuation signal according to Bollinger. We shall see how the remainder of the week unfolds.

Just in case I picked up some FAZ at 6.30. An idiot friend just called me and said he was buying stocks in his IRA now. Mind you this guy does not know the difference between a stock and a bond. He asked what I thought and I said “I think you are buying stocks in your IRA”. I turned it around and said hey I don’t know the difference between a stock and a bond so don’t ask me. I don’t do advice unless it pays handsomely. Just know when idiots buy its troublesome to me.

I thought that lazy man posted a system that shorted when the 2SD of the Bollinger Band was hit.
