Scientifically, You’re Mentally Ill

All kidding aside, you fuckers need to subside with your “SOS style” of investing, watching every tick like a fucking stock monkey. I don’t mind you fucking with me, making fun of my prints. But, geez, if you people pass judgment on your positions on such a short time frame, I insist you get the fuck off margin and take a real job—mop a floor or some shit.

As for me, I made coin, based upon the shadows near my favorite urinal and the voices in my head.

Basically, I think the market can go higher, but I am not betting my life on it. Your meaningless book of business must not be compared to “The Fly’s,” for I am able to own stocks for a period longer than 30 minutes. The problem, as always, stems from your lack of funds and/or insistence on building portfolios based upon idiotic moving averages or asinine pivot points.

Truth be told, investing is an art and I am the Picasso of this game, while you’re just fucking around on an etch a sketch.

Starent Networks beats by $0.06, beats on revs (15.90 -0.61)

Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $0.22 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.06 better than the First Call consensus of $0.16; revenues rose 30.2% year/year to $73.2 mln vs the $72.1 mln consensus. The company’s income before tax expense grew more than its net income and more than doubled for the first quarter of 2009 compared to the first quarter of 2008. In the first quarter of 2009, the company’s tax rate was 39.7%, reflecting a normal provision for income taxes; whereas for the same period of 2008, the company’s tax rate was only 4.5% and did not reflect a normal tax provision due to the company’s use of net operating loss carryforwards in determining the tax provision for that period.

Let me speak to you from a non-market standpoint for a second. Listen up, these fucking credit card rate hikes and fees are fucking good for the country. YES I fucking said good. Look you, I know you fucks like to go out and run up credit cards spending money you don’t have and will never have and thats why these hikes are good. You need to get off the credit line. You need to step back from the Best Buy credit card and start making money before you spend it. Stop living on credit every fucking step you make. I mean how fucking bad does that sound, people buy cars, houses, TVs, dick grinding lap dances, triple cheeseburgers and even pay their fucking taxes on credit. Is anything paid for with real money these days.

My point is this, if you jack up Joe Bill’s credit card rate and fees maybe he will quit sucking from the credit card teet and start making a dollar before he spends it. Obama trying to “protect” people from credit card companies will just prolong the pain yet again and encourage bad habits. But I really didn’t expect much more from him.

    Fuck you if you disagree.

Up yours …. like everyone else’s!

We bail the fuckers out, they borrow from the Fed at 0% and then charge even their best consumers usary rates … when they told me my rate was going from 4.99 to 11.99 due to “the economic crisis”, I told them to fuck off … you take their 12% rate and I’ll lock mine in at 5% …. how patriotic, schmuck.

E8: Why are you paying interest on a credit card? That’s a problem in the beginning. If you don’t like the rate don’t take the loan. I mean its not that fucking hard, would you buy MSFT if I said I would sell it to you at 40 because of the recession? Didn’t think so, then don’t buy the fucking credit card rate and forgo that extra fucking plasma and lap dance. I personally have two credit cards and they pay me to use them, not the other way around.

I agree on the bailouts, we should not be bailing anyone out. That shit should never have started. Personally a military is all that anyone in this country deserves. They should have shipped a pile of dog shit to all the banks and said good luck assholes.

Gap– I was thinking of you yesterday…went into US Bank to Barbeque this check that bounced once. Cocksuckers wanted $7 for a cashiers check and $5 to cash it. Credit Card companies are the fucking scum of the earth. 15 Billion last year in late fees? Give me a physical break.

Look I don’t care what rate they charge…but you have to admit there is something unsavory in taking existing debt and goosing it up off the charts. Jesus Christ there borrowing at 0 and lending @ 25-30%…howz bout something for the workin man.

As for GM and Chrysler…all I can say is it aint going to be pretty. Wouldn’t you love to see the payables these idiots have on the books. Its going to cascade. What are these lunch bucket fuckers going to do to make a living? I mean how many people can Costco really hire?

    Gapping,

According to this article, there are $1 trillion in Credit Default Swaps out on GM. http://tinyurl.com/2kqlk2

Now, I don’t believe the number is really this big, but even if its only 100 billion worth, that could still set off a devastating chain reaction.

This is why I don’t think GM will file for bankruptcy. They will do whatever it takes to survive. Go Chevy, Go Caddy! Classic brands the world over..

    Mush:

I think you’ll find the banks are well enough margined with a company like GM. There’s almost zero chance that any of the large banks would have done any dervative deals without margin step-ups.

That’s why the usually blather about derivatives you find on websites is a heap of shit.

That’s true, M. But why blame the banks about that spread. You don’t abuse the corner shop for having too high prices as it really is up to them to charge whatever they like unless we’re in another economic system these days.

If you think the spread is too wide then ask the Fed why they lowered the cash rate when demand for money is at much, much higher rates.

It’s the fed’s issue not the banks.

Some more ‘Great’ news for the banks and CRE. Its time to make a list of major RE projects around the nation that are on the verge of going bust prior to completion due to lack of financing.
One thing I know, everytime I see a major RE project on the verge of going under while still under construction, I see Deutsche Bank as a major lender on the project. I am short DB and feel very good. DB should be at $5 not $53.

    Gap said,

“E8,Why are you paying interest on a credit card? That’s a problem in the beginning. If you don’t like the rate don’t take the loan.”

It was a 0% card and it rolled over to 4.99 upon expiration of the 1 year offer. It’s not like I used it for groceries, lap dances and taxes … it use to be called OPM and I take advantage of that shit. Sorry, I’m not some high roller with a BS Asset Mgmt Acct like you. Had one and got rid of it … Amex and 0% works fine for me.

Besides, you’re the one recommending everyone accepts the banks BS interest rates … why don’t you practice what you preach and take their 12% in lieu of your dividend paying BS and while you’re at it, deposit all your cash in their BS money market accts and take their 1% rate on your savings …. be a patriot and help the banks become solvent … Gap, it’s your patriotic duty! Oh, and as Paulson said … Buy the Banks asshole!
