Meaning: if the economies of the world rebound, the shippers will benefit over a long period of time, not just today. With a substantial increase in the Dry Bulk Shipping Index, a stock like [[GNK]] or [[TBSI]] can appreciate, significantly, over a long period of time.
In addition, I am long 10,000 [[FEED]], from $2.35. This play was a pure PPT play. A lot of people got onboard and banked some coin. For the record, I am holding out for higher prices.
Finally, into this rally, I like [[LDK]], [[PKD]], [[AMKR]], [[STAR]], [[OVTI]] and [[CIEN]]. At the present, my only hedges are long [[FXP]], [[SCO]], [[SSG]] and short [[ACC]]. I sold out of all of my [[SRS]] and [[FAZ]], allowing a very dark chapter in the life of Senor Tropicana to be closed.

Every rally since mid 2007 has lasted around 6 weeks. We are in the 6th week of this rally. I would be very cautious. The market moving higher from here rapidly is extremely bearish NOT bullish. Bullish would be a 7-10% pullback and some consolidation prior to a move up. A continued move of this magnitude added to the fact the economy is still weak and earnings as a whole are going to be fairly poor is a bad sign. What goes up comes down eventually.

How many days can we see banks go up 10%, 15%, 25%, 35% everyday?

i have traded and watched CUBA from time to time. The underlying holdings are not what you’d expect…it does these 20% spikes and then drifts lower.

The government postponed the stress test results until the end of the month. I read somewhere that they didn’t want to release the results during earnings, cause they didn’t want to interupt or distort the market in any way.
Would this mean the results are good or bad?
