By the way, that CPKI you came up with was pure genius. I initiated with a partial 4000-share position in the high 10s when you mentioned it. When circus-like earnings came out a day later, the stock somehow popped, and I doubled my position to 8,000 shares. My cost basis is 11.25 on that failed California pizza stock. I intend to cover:
2000 at $9
2000 at $8
2000 at $6
2000 at $5.
The one caveat, however, is the VIX. If and when the VIX tags 75, I will disregard all my individual short position targets, cover all my shorts and go to cash.
You’ve got some seriously good ideas, though. In fact, AZO might’ve been your recommendation as well. Somebody mentioned it to me a couple of weeks ago (maybe you), but I didnt pull the trigger cuz it just wasnt “ready” technically. I like it now. The weekly also looks very top-heavy with down-week volume starting to get relatively high.

Maybe this is too obvious, but a jagged bottom is the only thing that can happen to a market going straight down. Then if it double bottoms, the experts are right until the second bottom, then they change their story and are right twice. But volatility prevents nice L shaped bottoms.
This also goes for levels of support. There are only confirmed levels after fact and that is no good.
The market will stop going down when people stop selling and there is no way to tell when that is.
