In the past I’ve made the mistake of getting greedy and overstaying my welcome with my iETFs. In the last 30 minutes, I’ve taken 25% of these off the table for nice profits. I think we go lower but after screwing myself over three or four times, I’m not calling a bottom but I am happy shaving off some positions for a profit.
The market will only bottom after all those who are “nibbling on FAS here” totally blow out their accounts.
Covered 1,500 XOM at $65 (my original target 1). Holding the remaining 1,500 for a move to $60 (target 2).
Sold my 2000 DUG shares at $34.05 today.
Continue to hold the following short:
AMZN, AAPL, GS, NTRS, STC, YHOO, HOTT, CPKI, V, BBY, BBBY.
I have no longs.
Only position under water, YHOO, but I still like it.
If you are long FAZ, watch your patoot going into tomorrow. The risk just isn’t worth the possible reward overnight at these levels.

Your timing is good in general and i understand you don’t want to pillage the nation more, but i would like to point out that the pillaging of oil stocks will continue.
The oil contango is narrowing, therefore all the arbitrage investment techniques require a further sell off of even stored oil, not just paper. a doji followed by a long red candle = turnaround and further selloff.
A bounce in oil will prove to be a great short again.
