Okay, that was disturbing.
Turkey leg anyone?
I say bring back High School Driver’s Education.
Should be worth a couple of points on the license, at least.
Did you just slyly call Devildog a girl? Ooooh!
That guy in the film clip was gay
Holy shit, DD is kinda hot.
You mean, he WAS kinda hot. He be dead now.
5 day chart on SRS is outrageous.
SSO been holding since Fly’s first Bull Call.
Has anyone seen this whole movie? Any good??
It’s worth watching. In other news, TNA is exploding. Still 45 minutes to go. 8900 here we come.
The Retail Report:
I believe Fly will be right about Macy’s (M), any TV video on Black Friday of people grabbing at the sale table of sweaters, or housewives rushing en masse to fight over the Martha Stewart bed linens on sale at Macy’s, and that coiled spring will start to quiver, shorts will start to cover etc etc. I’ve been enticed with many lovely coupon deals via email for Macy’s and today it was too good to pass up, the site was very very busy though and I’ll have to try and complete my Christmas shopping later.
Also, a new trend alert might be helpful to Macy’s. It’s become fashionable here in Boca for rich housewives to save money while shopping, The New Frugality Boca-style, which will mean using those Macy’s coupons to get deals at Macy’s instead of shopping at Sak’s and Bloomingdales. The movement used to be aspirational and upward in shopping, now it’s going to be The New Frugality in my opinion.
Amazon AMAZ has turned the corner. I’m too busy from Amazon sales on our various accounts to do anything but ship stuff out today. It was dead in October and early November, in contrast perking along nicely the last two days.
Barnes and Noble BKS is always slow but steady, still hopeful it will pick up online before Christmas. Haven’t been in the local store lately, they were dead in the water in October, those B&N gift cards are always a good reasonably priced gift though.
EBAY — the jury is still out on whether it will perform for us this year. But (a nice big but) with Ebay’s clever manipulation of their fee structure we are now paying on average 20 to 25 percent in commission to Ebay on every closed sale. Yep, I nearly had a heart attack and have been chuntering around about it ever since I sat down to do the numbers the other night. Bear in mind, I used to pride myself on keeping my Ebay fees and commissions to an average of 10 to 12 percent, so even though Ebay is not busy they are making twice the money from us. I don’t know what effect this will have on the stock unless they can still pull off enough traffic and gross merchandise sales numbers when it comes time to report.
Sorry I didn’t post this in PG, no time to look for my password to log into the PG. Over and out, back to shipping.
FXP = $50.82
Wait … not so fast.
The Turkey Gods have spoken!!!
I am not chasing this shit up. No way.
I will, but I’m going to blow out of my longs before the close.
Way too much optimism way too quickly…expect a pullback if not Friday, then certainly on Monday.
Any takers on FXP? Looks like China is sprinting higher based on its trading pattern.
sorry that was me above, not chasing
go get em charlie. youve had a nice day today!
I hate the PRC with all my beard and am trying to pick up FXP around 50.
Next run up?
Also like SRS at 115 for another run to $300 next week.
I think Boca is right about the new fashionable way to shop having something to do with being frugal, at least in the eyes of others…
I heard some wealthy people report on how it’s just not appropriate to flaunt wealth right now.
Fly’s rich, let’s ask him…
First time ever, The PPT is spitting out a buy rating on overall market. However, should treasuries pull back, it will go to a sell quickly.

Us city folk do this all the time
but you country folk may learn something.

And, just know, if I did live at Mom’s, I’d reside in the fucking attic, throwing shit down on everyone—not like a fucking hermit in the cellar.
This will be Fly on Monday…
“You idiot. Get back in there at once
and sell, sell, sell!!!”

previously posted….up 40% on F down 15% on GM…. anyone like those jan 5 F, jan 5, 6, 7.50(heavier) calls?
Like I said nothing crazy on the overall position just a lotto ticket…
The markets are full of bull traps and bear traps. And it’s the second mouse that gets the cheese. But the Fly being virtually weightless can land on the cheese and eat his fill long before the first Devildog comes around.
You know I do BNB. Or you could buy stock, because if Congress doesn’t bail them out, Obama will within weeks of taking office.
Charlie,
I was thinking that too but like I said more of a lotto ticket play with good odds… very small positions involved. If I bought stock I would go alot larger… something I’m not willing to do at this time all things considered.
What is your play again Charlie?
Cerberus: takes the high road, claims to be just like some unemployed subprime idiot unconstrained by a sense of ethics being “fooled” into signing the mortgage papers: “we didn’t know what we were buying” “we’re the victim here” “my broker made me do it”. Fry ’em.
Charlie,
Just found it… Blocks of Ford… Upon further review I wish I would have gone heavy on that side of the play. Either way they will be the dead man walking with their cash reserves and all.
I don’t know if I’m going to go through with it, but if I do, I will begin buying blocks around the 3rd.
YZC rocks Kirk Douglas.
Fly was right about the retailers … he just bet on the wrong one (M) … KSS, JCP, TGT, SHLD etc all kicking ass!
Maybe not … % wise alright I guess
By then though the bailout will be factored into the price… Might be seeing that already happening…

Maybe, but I’m banking the market drops before then and gives us a better price. We close near 8800, which is bearish in the short short term.
