I had enough. I am booking profits on some inverses and upping some of my longs.
UPDATE: I cleaned out my [[EEV]] , [[REW]] and 2/3rds of my [[DUG]] positions. I kept [[FXP]] , [[SDS]] and my Petrohawk Energy Corporation [[HK]] shorts.
In addition, I loaded up on [[ROM]] and [[UYM]] . There is a good chance this rally may stick.
UPDATE II: I am not net long. I sold enough of my inverses and bought some 200% upsides to get me flat. However, my largest position, by far, is cash. I haven’t calculated yet, but I’m sure it’s more than 30%.
UPDATE III: I’m throwing dice down, getting net long, buying National-Oilwell Varco, Inc. [[NOV]] and covering some of my [[HK]] short.
UPDATE IV: I covered my entire [[HK]] short. And, I loaded up on The Mosaic Company [[MOS]] .
Currently, I am 60% long, 20% short and 20% cash.

As a potential target, the way I view the 777 level is as a risk measurement tool. I have been buying today both S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 vehicles understanding I may be early, but also recognizing that a move down to 777, if it does occur, would not be cause to capitulate and stop out. Many traders mechanically set stops below new lows or at round numbers. (I shudder to think of the people who may have stopped out of Google (GOOG) for example (which has a 279 downside target based on TD retracement levels) simply because it was a round number at a new low.)
If we get to 777 I will buy more, but if not, I have enough exposure on to benefit from what is now a multi-week bullish posture.
On the upside, SPX levels are 864, then 909 and maybe 955.

FXP looks cheap here, but I suspect it’s going to get cheaper tomorrow, if not for anything else, just an oversold follow-on rally, and a technical bounce from testing the lows.
FXP under 60 is a buy. Start thinking about using the double inverse ETFs as a contrarian indicator, almost like the put/call ratio, Vix, and high/low ratio.
I have a buy limit on FXP at 64 because you never know how long these bear rallies last. a few days usually.

I made 27% and 40% trading CC in 2 trades. GGP will work. If it doesn’t, so be it. That’s what taking risk is all about. That is why I sized it at only a 3% position. I’m not that dumb. Portfolio risk management is key. If it doubles or triples on me, I can take that loss this month being up 10% already, but I doubt it.
