Back from my extended vacation, which started in late August: Italy, Hawaii, and (yes) Alaska. All thanks to the beautiful trade I put on in late June: Short crude and long DUG. Have I missed anything? Next trade: short FXP (massive bearish engulfing on the weekly) – the move down has just started. Long QLD, UWM and ROM. Short SRS and XLF. Hedge long mass quantities of QID. After doing about 3 hours of research, I have decided that we have made a “complicated bottom”.
It is going to be choppy but we do up for a while, before falling down harder.
Another 10-15% on the S & P should be doable. Then we go to S & P 600.

Ahhhh….good point; however, the lows after the September bar: (1) held and the next week, and (2) saw retracement on low (read low supply) volume.
Last week, which was the week after the most recent bearish engulfing, fell below the lows on higher (read increased supply) volume. Not only that, last week’s close was below the September bar (“sweet!”). Oh…not only that, the push up from the September head fake was on relatively low volume with a lot of topping tails (fuckin sweet!). And….it broke key weekly support. So, to sum up, a bearish engulfing followed by a break of lows and key support on increased supply = St. Regis Bora Bora.
Kinda surprised that Fly’s chart monkey didn’t see this.

The Fed’s balance sheet is now around 1.4 trillion and counting. it is expected to go to $2 to 3 trillion. Every other central bank is or will embark on that racket. This has a multiplier effect of around 12:1 as it enters the economy through the banking system.
