I did bookends on LVS. Screwed up my long trade (see above) and shorted it at about 142.00 and panicked covered at about 143.20 and took it off my watch list until about two weeks ago.
Double ass.
As a business owner who employs 120 people, we have resigned ourselves to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next president, and that our taxes and fees will go up in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, we figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8-10%. We will also have to lay off 25 of our employees. This really bothered us as we believe we are family here and didn’t know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what we did.
We strolled thru the parking lot and found twenty Obama bumper stickers on our employees cars. We have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.
We can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.’
I would welcome feedback on the price action in BOOM today. I find it curious, particularly the tight range it has been in for the last few hours. Thanks in advance.
Finally, sold all 10K F from 1.89 @ 2.25. Probably going to prove to be a mistake. But, had to do it. Too many debt holders hitting the bid and too much Chrysler/GM merger/bailout on/off NOISE. Don’t want it OTW.
Enough trading. Positions set. Figure they’ll pile into Mr. Softie soon for the feel good EOW. I leave it in Art Cashin’s lap.
Off to the gym before the 3 screaming female Scull-ettes arrive home…already well on their way to becoming diabetics. Then, a night of wagon pulling, pizza, sweet potato pie and beer.
Wish I had FLY’s imagination, but will once again go down the road as a Agent Douche-Bag by donning the Optimus voice changing helmet with attached headlight until Scull-ette’s stop enjoying it.

You fuckin’ CLULESS MORON. Please state
which taxes Obama will raise on your ostensibly
$20 million dollar a year (gross) business.
If you raise your prices 10% your gross immediately goes to $22 million. And if you fire 25 employees you save another $1.5 mill.
So your gross increases by $3.5 million.
If you were NETTING $400K before Obama, his tax hike would amount to $7500 vs McCain.
With your intended machinations of price hikes and layoffs, your taxes will go up
$1.6 million. Because of YOU – you fuckin’ DUMBASS, not because of Obama.
All those tax no.s are BS – forgetaboutit – Obama is Fidel – Bill Ayers is Che Guevara. Just bought BEN and CBL – these are overdone, that’s all – should correct back up 5 to 20%.
lvs going nuts
Where’s mah Monkey!
Knocking on the door of 9400, baby! If we get to 9460, we get to 9700 today!
Gannett up nicely, so I’ll throw out the pimento cheese flavored candy from China and upgrade to king sized snickers…SWEET!
Someone needs to dress up as Devildog so we can have some fun.
CBL: 18%+ in 48 hours.
Nice call, Jake.
I believe LVS was about 4.50 on Mon. I daytraded it long about 4.85 and then dumped it at 4.72 and said screw it. Ass.
I had a cost basis of $4.77 and sold @ $8. $14.55 now, Damn!!!
Paging Mr. Devildog…Mr. Devildog
I’ve always imagined DevilDog as the John Goodman character in
The Big Lebowski.
I’m done throwing pies at him, tho. Not fun or sporting when he’s so far down.
Adding 300 more SDP here.

Anyone think HUN merger is enforceable? Trading with a 9 handle now.
CBS looks like it is going back to 50DMA = $12.
Holding remaining 13K shares and 15K of GCI. NYT lagging. No position.
Meanwhile, ugly, plastic shoes without an enforceable patent + 40% in 2 days. Sold CROX 2 hours too early.
I don’t feel as bad for CAP as I do for DevilDog.
I mean, at least CAP is getting a blowjob.
I would welcome feedback on the price action in BOOM today. I find it curious, particularly the tight range it has been in for the last few hours. Thanks in advance.
BOOM, some big blocks have went through. I can’t tell if they were buys or sells.
That tight range means it may lift off, or sell off pretty quickly, at some point today.
If I had to guess, I’d say it will BTFO.
Jake;
Yep.
Grew up around it. Dad worked for MNI – Southeast. When it was still relevant. Retired 02.
I don’t think you’re queer for taking a blowjob, but for giving one????
CAP, will you be my date for the next Gay Pride Rally?
Hey, with this ralley [sic] Boo Boo can hand out dimes like John D. Rockeffella [sic].

I like the action in CHK here. If it doesn’t go green by the close I’ll tea bag myself.
AVD looks good.
Sold MOS – bought XLE – bought LUK. It is looking more and more like at least a bottom was made, no?
