I just took down a million dollar position in BE Aerospace, Inc. [[BEAV]] , based upon the pending resumption of business at The Boeing Company [[BA]]. Those fucking union bastards are scheduled to vote on ending the strike, this weekend. With that in mind, it’s possible to see some positive headlines for BA and their fucking counter parties, like BEAV.
Looking at today’s tape, if forced to make a prediction, I’d say we will close near the highs of the day. It makes perfect sense. Nonetheless, I am comfortable with a bountiful cash position here (50%), following the huge run up in some of my favorite names.
Just so you know, I did not sell any National-Oilwell Varco, Inc. [[NOV]] . Listen to me you cocksuckers: “The NOV” is going to rip the faces off of those who short it, then proceed to bash their skulls in with frozen cans of soda pop, preferably Monster.
Also, I did not sell any Arch Coal, Inc. [[ACI]] .
In short, I will plan my next move carefully. I will hold my current longs and average down on them, if needed, while laughing at you red nosed clowns who got caught short during this greatly televised, and often spoken of, melt up.

(NYSE: BA), Hexcel Corp. (NYSE: HXL), Ladish Co. (Nasdaq:

How are things holding up in the commercial aerospace sector at this
time?
At the end of the third quarter of 2008, Airbus and Boeing (NYSE:
BA) reported a combined total of 7,534 aircraft in backlog and, at that
time, they were delivering at an annualized rate of 752 aircraft. On
that basis, it would take some 10 years to deliver all the aircraft on
order.
Of the stated backlog, 458 shipsets were for the Airbus A350 XWB and 895
were for the Boeing 787, neither of which is yet in production (787
deliveries may start before the next decade, while A350 deliveries
should start by the middle of the next decade).
Complicating matters is the ongoing machinists (IAM) strike against
Boeing as well as the threat by that company’s
white-color engineers and technical employees (who are members of SPEEA)
to go on strike early in 2009, which could shut Boeing down entirely. In
addition, there is historical evidence that whenever Boeing comes out
with a new aircraft type (such as the 787), the stocks of Boeing and its
principal suppliers go into hibernation between the first announced
order and the first successful delivery to an airline.
Sounds pretty bleak. Is it as bad as it seems?
Given this situation, a blanket endorsement of the stocks of Boeing’s
principal suppliers would be inappropriate at this time. However,
whenever the first 787 delivery appears imminent (my guess is in about
12 months), the purchase of the shares of Hexcel Corp. (NYSE:
HXL), Ladish Co. (Nasdaq: LDSH), Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG-A)
and Precision Castparts (NYSE: PCP) — as well as BA — would be
in order.
