Does anyone know how you figure whether or not someone qualifies for a certain level of option account?
For example. If I wanted to apply for a level 2 option account, what’s the minimum I would need?
Level 3?
4?

Sure. Here’s what you need to do:
Call up your bullshit brokerage E*trade and tell them that you’re taking your goddamn money elsewhere unless they give you the ability write naked calls and demand a complementary E*trade sweatshirt as compensation for insulting your intelligence. Then… once you’re in possession of the sweatshirt give it to a homeless bum and then close your account and take your money to a brokerage that doesn’t treat you like you’re a retarded 7 year old with a severed corpus collosum.
Just use ToS, they give you the full capabilities no matter what, with no account minimum or other crap. For other bullshit brokers, just lie when filling out the SEC questionnaire. I.e., you’ve got 20 years experience trading options, have a 9-figure net worth, whatever. It’s your foot and your gun, what do they care?
