As an aside, it appears the banks are sliding down the sloppy slippery slope of sloth. I suspect we will see many more dilutive capital raises, to go with egregious writedowns, almost immediately.

Towards the end of the day, I started a short position in [[FMBI]], and added to my [[REW]] position. In short, with such an ugly tape, there is no fucking way tech will skirt the selling programs.
Eventually, the pain will become too great for money managers, forcing them to raise cash. When this happens, I suspect REW will sprint to $65.

I decided to put my nuts on the line and buy MXC instead as a “compulsion buy”. Pretty much the same fucking insane type of runup stock, only more so. PDO is looking for oil in California. That just seems retarted to me. WTF do they think they’re the beverly hillbillies? (anyone even remember that old show?) .
MXC has about half the market cap, and is in the Permian basin. That sounds much better to me, and they could skyrocket some more, just for the hell of it.
BUT PDO does seem like a good “WTF” trade here, particularly if you are in a “do the opposite” mode.
