Stocks go up in the long run, because there’s buying and selling and it goes up and down. When you have a 20% loss, you need a 25% gain to make up for it. Since stocks generally channel and stuff, and are bought and sold, people see greater opportunity on the long side for channeling stocks, so they generally channel upwards, beecuase there are more dip buyers than people who sell high. If people sell high, they have a chance to buy back even more with their profits, and they usually do.

The Ag/commodity play is done. The only way I would stay in this trade is with the oil service co’s or maybe Nat gas. The Euro is down 1.5% against the $ today which is the most since 2004 and there are talks of the rate cuts ending. Get long the dollar and short commodities. At least for the next few days………
