The Fly has cautioned plenty of wise guy traders about wanting to get long …. CMO, UDRL, etc should be good evidence of what WILL happen, sooner or later, with all longs in a bear market.

Whoah! What a day. Trading finished 3 minutes ago here, and It was a ripper. HSI closed down -3.6%, HSCEI closed down -3.51%. I’m effectively short on both, long gold, and long Aussie dollar.
Let’s hope the NFP figure tonight is not surprising on the positive side (surprising on the negative side is fine).

you feed your pigs and cattle with corn. that’s gotten pretty expensive, so i’m sure farmers are sending livestock off for slaughter and not rearing any more. so right now there is an oversupply, but at some point in the not-too-distant future there will be an undersupply and it will be a screaming buy (cattle, pork bellies etc). been watching this patiently for a while now.
