That being said the SKF is going to punch you in the balls if you hold it much longer. There is going to be some stupid gov bailout of the fin sector before you have a chance to reap the rewards of what should happen in a free capital market – simply because we don’t actually have one – we just like to say we do.

i thought the bounce would last on friday but the bounce was crushed just prior to when bush opened his mouth. when bush announced his tax relief plan on oct 7 2001, the market rallied 4% in 2 days and another 1% within 2 wks. i had a strategy to let back into my shorts by structuring 1/3 of the trades friday, 1/3 tuesday, and 1/3 later in the month if the market rallies further. i’m very skeptical of a rally this week unless there is some kind of govt bailout announcement.
right now, i am only short FXE (the euro). the ECB will eventually realize that inflation is not their main problem and act accordingly.
