The only reason the DOW is higher today is due to Dupont’s great earnings report. Delving into it, I can tell you their agriculture business saved the day, currently representing more than 23% of revenues.
Moreover, they are set to unveil a new set of seeds that will hurt MON.
Currently, they license several seeds from MON, which will cease upon launch of their own product lines.
In short, MON is growing fast and is a market leader, but will soon come under competitive pressures from DD.
Aside from that, I am taking a shot on [[RIMM]] here. For traders, should the stock break $94, you may want to cut losses.
Finally, I like the action in [[GILD]], which is a position of mine. And, I am shocked to see [[MVIS]] getting shredded like this. People must be disappointed in with what they saw at CES.
From my point of view, management has done nothing for its shareholders. There is no reason to buy the stock.

I expected the stock to go down, after CES—but not like this.
Personally, I do not see any way the company can remain on schedule with their embedded Picop.

MCHX-sold at $13. Made 20% on it my first go around.
NTRI=loser stock. Sold between $31-37. Bad call.
HANS- Still up big. Bought from high 20’s.
BWLD- Great call turned bad.One chink.
ARWR and WAGAT- Sold both much higher.

MVIS was a textbook fade going into CES. Everyone was excited about selling the hype, there is only one direction when everyone’s on the same side. Not hating Fly, just expressing my thoughts on it.

What I hear from CES is the device is amazing… but end of 2008 before it hits market. A long way off. There is interest in embedded solutions, but will take time. I think time is perhaps the biggest issue, as well as a shitty market. Time = exposure to all kinds of nonsense. Fly has it right… revisit later in the year when what is going on behind closed doors sees the light. Plenty of time to buy back in.

HELLOOO! You may have noticed that the entire market has been on a down-trend for days now.
