Voila
Presto
Behold
yep, yep.
hey, i jumped back in at 3:35 with some UWM and QLD.
FLY…they are tossing us turkeys…two bird thanksgiving with the QID short….sweat spuds indeed….side dishes in the warmer…let’s eat like pigs.
Fly wins again, even when he seems to be losing badly.
There’s still 15 minutes to the bell, anything can happen.
I like how my short positions are not getting any love in this whole recovery.
This market needs some lithium. It is acting like a totally untrained puppy.
Market pees on the floor.
Market jumps up and licks your face.
Market licks the floor.
Market pees on your face.
Repeat until distracted by fly on window pane.
Anybody buying NTRI at 21 and change? Here’s the response I got back from IR after asking them about mgmt buys and the buyback.

To answer your question, yes, the share repurchase is active. We report repurchase activity once a quarter when we report quarterly results, however, we did provide an update when we filed the third quarter’s 10-Q on November 6th in which the company stated that it had repurchased 787,000 shares for approximately $24m. These repurchases were made subsequent to the re-opening of the repurchase window on October 29th through October 31st.
Management has been and continues to be quite adamant about their desire to support the shares, and initiated a credit facility in the third quarter to expand the existing share repurchase plan. They are also significant stakeholders in the company and as such are keenly aware of the full impact of the short interest to the share price. In the end, execution on the strategy is what drives valuation and to that end, management is focused on launching the new food offering in late December as well as launching its entry into Canada in January. January also marks the start of the diet season and we expect to have an upgraded marketing strategy going into this peak season
Finally, with regards to personal buying, while I understand your sentiment, insider buying/sales are a personal financial decision for each executive to make and the company does not comment on them. There will be, of course, public filings made at the time of any transaction.
I hope this answers your questions.

“Money is always moving among the large asset classes – Equities, Commodities, Bonds and Real estate. So the question is if money is moving out of stocks, what is it moving into ?”
Capital game–
My bond trader friend says treasuries. He can’t sell any other shit to his institutional clients.
That was great. Let’s have some more tomorrow so we can position good and short for next week.
Good rally though. They’re becoming obvious. The robots can’t hide.

Treasuries with their low yield and a declining Dollar ?
So institutions are basically betting that the Dollar bottoms here. They are also betting that yields start rising. With yields so low and the Dollar declining, I have a hard time believing that institutions are picking bonds to outperform stocks going forward.
The last time we had a bear market in 2000, Yields on the 10-Yr rose from 5.8 to 6.8% in 2 months prior to the market decline. This time around yields are falling.
I would think yields need to rise to atleast 5.5% on the 10-yr before treasuries become an attractive alternative to equities. Then again this is just my way of thinking.
Cap Game–
Yeah, I know, it’s retarded. People are panicking, from the small investor up to the big institution and are not thinking straight.
They just want out of anything “risky” without understanding what they own.
If people want to be bearish, fine. There are ways to make money in this environment.
No doubt, the sub-prime “debacle” is serious, but too many people watch CNBC and get misinformation, or think they understand the mechanics of ABS from watching the financial shows.
