Futures on Fyah + Cajun Fire = More Coin

View futures here.

A bunch of my picks come from custom PPT screens created by myself as well as other users. You see, inside the matrix (AKA The PPT), you can easily develop custom screens as well as copy other screens that PPT members develop.

Every night I go through the list of screens with some of my favorite being: Alpha’s Go-Go Juice, Shit floats, & Cajun Fire.

With the futures moving higher, it has me looking to my pot of treasure, the Cajun Fire screen. Here are tonight’s results:

Going through the first few, I noticed [[DELL]] is a BTFO candidate & [[HBAN]] looks poised to move higher– I bought some calls in HBAN today (noted on PPT).

Now get to work, screen the list above for the best setups and you have your watchlist for tomorrow.

Sirius Mojo

Look, I’m not the one to be peddling around penny stocks, truth be told, I never looked at stocks under $10 before this previous meltdown. But action can still be found in these names and the opportunity for upside is huge.

Let’s take [[SIRI]] for example, this has everything you want to see in a stock regardless of price. Take a look at the chart for example, you have all of your major moving averages now below price, bullish. We also have tight consolidation in price from the previous move higher.

But, the thing that has me confident in this trade is the iPhone application. I already know what you’re saying, the application sucks, they won’t make an money from it. I say, you’re probably right, but it is a catalyst, one that I think people will get behind just to push the stock higher.

For example, just the other day the stock caught an upgrade:

SIRI Sirius XM Radio upgraded to Outperform at Barrington Research; tgt $0.70 (0.35 ) Barrington Research upgrades SIRI to Outperform from Mkt Perform and sets target price at $0.70. The firm says following a recent period of significant volatility in the share price we feel the potential exists for investors to consider several core fundamental issues. Most importantly, a favorable swing in EBITDA of more than $500 million into positive territory this year should be followed by substantial, additional annual gains. Further they add, some added revenue sources, especially a royalty recovery fee with broad application, should boost revenues.”

Look, it is what it is– a piece of shit. But, I think near term there is money to be made, and I’m here to grab some of it.

Disclaimer: Long SIRI

Things Have Changed

It’s no longer trading on easy street where setups were plentiful and gangs of penny stocks would rise 100% in a day. We now have this sidways shit, where traders are chewed up and spit out on a daily basis.

I have reduced my trading activity and will wait this out a few days to see where we stand. If I had to put my nuts on the table based on today’s trading, I would say we close the day slightly positive.

However, today I’m looking to add a few iETFs on weakness mainly [[SRS]] & [[TZA]].

[[PALM]] is perking up today with it’s target raised to $18, and I still like [[SIRI]] as a spec play on it’s new iPhone app. I don’t see to much to trade, but feel free to hit me up with any symbols that peak your interest.

Murk’d

Today hurt, as I shed a little more than five percent, I wanted to sell all day, but for some reason could not pull the trigger. I will be looking for a bounce tomorrow to unload a few positions and will be scanning tonight for possible short setups.

Early scan results point to lower prices in equities, as I am spoting great short setups every which way I look. The insurance sector looks ripe for a few shorts, just take a look @ [[AFL]] & [[ALL]]

There are a lot more where that came from, and I will be using the rest of the night to prepare for war– you should too. Feel free to post good short setups in the comment section.

Place Your Bets

The S&P 500 is sitting on the 200 & 50 day MA, this can either act as a springboard or we could flat out breakdown. So far Woody’s golden cross prediction has yet to be confirmed, but the day is still young.

With oil breaking down, I’m hesitant to think we will snap back today. I will wait until the close before making any decisions on what to do with my positions.

Note: The transports sliced right through the 50 day this morning.

Here’s a list of positive preformers, sorted by highest volume.
