Until the new 3G iPhone is released. This will be a huge win for [[AAPL]]. There are not many stocks I like at this point, but if I had to choose one, it would be AAPL.

In stores July 11th:

Top pair trade: long [[AAPL]] short [[RIMM]]

    How about short GRMN? New iPhone 3G has built in gps. Long AAPL.

    Steve Jobs will declare that he does not have cancer next week, just been powdering the nose a little too often.

    That should be good for 10 points or so on the upside.

    GOOG and AAPL are going to partner on an internet only based pc that ties directly into to the new AAPL\GOOG OS in 09.

    You wait.

    Great pair trade AAPL will cut into RIMM’s market share in a noticeable way with this phone.

    Checkout FAN and TAN… they look like California bank stock charts after the amphetamines have run out…

    Jake, I tried to buy puts earlier this week on TAN. I gave up after realizing the market maker just plain didn’t want to sell them to me, at least not at a spread I was willing to pay, I guess. Bought puts on CSIQ instead.

    So the pairs trade for next week is long AAPL, short GRMN or RIMM? Interesting.

    Happy 4th of July weekend to Cajun and everybody. We will be bbq’ing juicy pork ribs, hope y’all have a wonderful weekend.

    AAPL does look like it really wants to get things moving. if we can get any kind of market bounce, even on the flimsiest of data, AAPL looks good for 10pts.

    cancer steve still worries me, however, because they could drop that bomb at any moment.

    AAPL will climb before earnings and get clobbered after due to a toughening consumer environment. iPhone is already priced in.
