Last week I wrote a quick blog asking if you’d rather own Amazon at these prices, or start putting together a basket of retail names together that have been overly beaten down.
Today, the retail basket is looking quite strong. Many of my favorites we’ve been looking at are already up +3% on some decent volume. Retail was my next group for rotation this year, as discussed on my Boot Camp and After Hours with Option Addict.

I’m in the KMI trade at 3x my normal size. I was trying to be ahead of the OA blog posting curve. I will probably get smoked because of that though.
That declaration is heart-breaking. I have a position that is exactly the max of my normal size and I got a great entry. Now that the market knows you broke standard risk management protocol, we’re all fucked!
today is payment for that…but honestly i think this dip gets bought up within a week.

Me too. I have 3-5 positions that are expiring this week but still ‘live’, and none of them are promising or fading. They’re all in no man’s land, leaving me stuck. I don’t like to have this much exposure on Wed afternoon of expiry week, let alone with all of these positions in the middle.
