OA- trip has severely breached the trendline and could be headed to the 200ma. You said you were holding this yesterday. Looks like an idea gone bad. Do you agree?
Most longs breached trendlines lately. Have you noticed that?
The famous trendline algo is messing with you.
yup thats why i asked. I dont worship trendlines but use it as a risk management tool to control losses. How do you decide when to cut when our longs breach trendlines SIGNIFICANTLY. curious to know sir.
Just my 2cents but i would watch the candle that forms as the trendline is breached. A big gap below is a sell. A slight breach with a small body doji like TRIP has today means indecision on the break
Thanks formergreek. In the case of trip we used 98 as a “managable” target when the trend was drawn by OA. It breached yesterday with a big red candle and today with a doji. Also the 30min chart is no longer in consolidation as highlighted by OA.
Look what the stock did. It probed lower knowing you would ask. Once you asked, it reversed.

There are little zero expectations for LULU here, shorts are pressing their bets into earnings. A positive report could send this +20% tomorrow easily. Added to Sep 12 expiry at $0.69, avg cost ~$0.95

I am getting tempted by the contrarian analysis for LULU. Usually not comfortable with playing stocks pre ER. Options looks cheap though.
What is the contrarian analysis? To short it down here?
meaning all the talk about how the general public has given up on lulu, the correction has priced in the bad news etc. which makes us go long for “investment” purposes (i.e- going opp of what the general public is thinking).

nice. above 35 feye can run much higher. However, there have been a lot of breakout failures/shooting start patterns on several momo nasdaq names. eg: WFM, SODA, SCTY etc. Just my thoughts.
