Last nights After Hours with Option Addict session was fantastic. Raul nailed the content and presentation, and generated nothing but positive feedback. Again, these sessions are recorded so make sure if you haven’t listened yet to do so soon.
On the day I bought shares of BORN, and am stalking SINA and MKTO for September call positions.
With that move in JRJC yesterday, I’m thinking we need to up the number of cheap/risky stock positions here. They are a great signal of risk, and when the shittiest stocks start floating to the top, you know that risk appetite is getting a little excessive.
On that note, XXII and SYN are my favorites. Hit me if you have any others.

$ZU has been coiling since June 5 (draw some magic lines on a charT) and is at teh center of that range. I bought Sept and have planrty of tiem to let it work so why worry? You could make a case it is resting on support and should exit if it breaks but I will only watch closely if it happens because of the coiling pattern.
This looks like the perfect place to buy some QQQ and SPY

People that lack a trade plan tend to constantly seek validation on their position.

“How about now?”
“Still look good?”
Save yourself the emotional roller coaster and map out your exit (on both sides) BEFORE you take a position. It might sound tedious, but that and position sizing are probably the two biggest culprits of the constant “Do you still like…” questions on this blog.

Darren, I agree about having a trading plan. That said, I believe people struggle with planning the exits and therefore look to a seasoned trader for advice given that hard earned money is at risk. Perhaps over time, after understanding where exits are on certain trades, people will get more confident/comfortable in setting their own plans/exits. Until then, you’ll always have people here seeking advice and wanting to learn from the best. There isn’t much discussion here on exit points by anyone, but I know this is /has been discussed in After hours. Well worth it for people wanting to understand trading plans better.

OA, it seems like a lot of “5’s” and trash has been taking off the past few sessions which would mean closer to a pullback, however a lot of the 3’s and 4’s still haven’t really made their move yet. Any thoughts on this?
The trash phase lasts weeks. Keep watching those that haven’t moved…they’ll have their moment.

One thing to look at regarding china is the cyber issue and the theft of IP. The Mandiant report on APT1 and the indictment of the 5 chinese cyber actors was more than likely an opening salvo in a concerted effort against chinese theft. Not sure what exactly is going to happen or when, but this is something to keep in mind.
Prediction: recent memory of Yellen trashing social media and biotech will have many a trader with too little exposure to such stocks or even short going into fed minutes. You might see some weakness in the morning. Buy it with both hands. Could get some big moves in those stocks once the minutes come out and it’s a non-event.
$TWTR is far and away my top pick right now.
