on the 5 min, chart it just pinned the 200ma at 304. why 302?
Are you a big fan of the 1,000 minute moving average? Does trading this thing work?
i scan all time frames and fibs, trying to see if a certain level comes up to try and find a bounce point.

The cool thing is that options don’t move stocks…and I only trade in liquid option products so we don’t disrupt price.

To see beyond the 5yr range
So if one time range doesn’t give me a volume chart I can use, I should change time frames until I find a chart that does.
Based on last nights ‘After Hours’, I went “old man style” and picked up some $YGE Dec. 7’s in the first hour. The potential for ‘outlandish’ is there. Figured I’d buy some time to let it macerate, if need be…

Jeff – I will (by design) get called out of BBY tomorrow after a nice 6 month run with wheel trades and gains. What would you think of FSLR as a replacement for near term holding ? I like to option my way into a stock to reduce base price. Alternately, do you like another stock $25-$40, beta of 1.6 or better for 3-6 month hold ?

OA the profile changes depending on timeframe, which do you use for exits?
I use the same chart for both entries and exits.
the weekly chart shows the pocket clear to 66ish. slight uptick, then another pocket from 69 to 73. My guess is bank the coin at 66, let the stock fight thru the pocket, and re-enter with november’s or decembers.

as well, it held its 9ema so far on the daily, which I have found to be a wonderfully useful gauge of a stocks momentum in an uptrend.
My favorite urinal shadows are still talking about YELP.
If ZNGA ever gets above 4, the volume by price profiles look so wonderfully sexy.
Make mental notes of stuff like that. It helps down the road.
