I have been raising cash this morning, taking off a few existing positions to make room for new ones. I am looking to get smaller here over the next few days, with fewer but more potent positions.
As for my moves today…
I rolled out to Aug 460 AAPL calls at $2.75.
Also picked up Aug 8 calls in MCP and GS Aug1 wkly 170 calls for .36
If BIDU opens lower tomorrow, I will locate a new long there as well.
I booked gains in AAPL, LULU, RVLT, and USLV and look small losses in DDD and RSOL.

About that 900#…..you’re too young to remember those days ………Dorfman ,Wollenchuck(SP?) and my favorite Barry “Stutz” Davis .
They would have updates during the day and Barry, who ended up serving time , would have his preview around 10 p. m. and it would last about 20mintes @ 3.00/min……….when he was going good (1988-89) he was knocking down 25k a month after expenses !
OA, posted this on old post by mistake. So reposting here. OA, when a call option surges after a stock pop following positive earnings, do you sell it immediately the day after or do you keep holding it? Or does this vary from stock to stock? I am talking about front month ending calls, not immediately expiring weekly ones.
Great question. I only position over earnings and hold when I feel the move is an initiation of a much bigger move to come.
