I voted against it.

Had it done nothing but require foods with GMO ingredients to state so on the label, it would have had my vote.

Instead, it also created an exception-riddled definition of “Natural” and, bizarrely, encouraged enforcement via consumer lawsuits against retailers, as if they could somehow detect GMO ingredients in a product on their shelves.

None of the state’s major newspapers supported Prop 37, due to the flaws.
