I don’t see the point here. A few years ago all the scalpers/locals would close their positions a few minute prior and the order book would be empty until the numbers came out. Now robots and anyone left do the same thing.
What’s the difference? Just because it’s operating at a faster pace doesn’t make it all that different from what has always happened.
