I remember seeing a great interview of Hugh Hendry discussing the Bank of England. He has framed on his office wall the front page of a newspaper that came out during the height of the 2008 crisis that stated interest rates would not be cut until 2010 because of fears over inflation.
This strikes me as remarkably similar with all that inflation in Greece (-7%) and Portugal (-5%). Better hike those rates!
