If you’re going to have a loan shark market, why not a regulated one rather than a leg-breaking one?
At least these high risk credits will be priced in a public and more liquid market. It will make credit available, and most likely far lower price than any one on the street could offer.

Yes, preying on the poor and uneducated should be a formalized “regulated” market (like the MBS market was right Jake?). Afterall fucking the little guy should be nothing new to American business.
