Are you referring to the lenders who gave a no-money down loan of more than $1 million to a man “on probation for bankruptcy fraud”?
I find your suggested punishment a poor fit for the crime. Fines, restitution (to those who bought or insured the loans), loss of licenses, and a few months of jail time would be appropriate for those who approved and sold the loan.
