As an employee of ny life in 2010, I can tell u this is 100% accurate. I resigned in December of 2010 and was told by a friend that my manager post dated my resignation to January 3rd and forged my signature to have me on his book into the new year and collect the bonus ($3000) Was so happy to be out of here I didn’t even care. Complete scam, poor training, and scumbag managers all around making all the money while everyone else struggles.
They WILL ask you to sign up all family and friends.
Get your licenses (paid for by those douches and GET OUT!)
And one last thing…NY Life only offers ONE good product, their custom whole life product. The managers will barely even teach you it and it brings the least commission to agents because of this.
That should tell you enough that it is all about commission and they don’t care about clients one bit.
