Fuk that! Repeal prohibition and end the war on drugs. Just like with alcohol, it’s the actual prohibition that’s responsible for most of the problems

Pretty ironic. There’s a Bain Capital investment (PE) that’s going to benefit mucho from this policy.

    GoodAsGold,

I’m against the war on drugs, but making narcotics legal is a bad idea.

    fake amish,

how is it fascist to think we need to make sure people do not die?

the war on drugs was a fascist campaign started against Latino peoples in this country that morphed into bombing and MON inspired spray campaigns.

It is fascist to send a dealer with a few ounces of narcotics to jail when the military and CIA have been dealing in drugs for decades to commit more fascist covert crimes.

“make sure people dont die.” exactly how other than fascist policies is that possible cronk? shit happens. if someone wants to pop a shitload of pain killers and dies. personal choice imo. violence on yourself is not a crime.

        fake amish,
stop being so idealistic. the government should not be allowing pain clinic / drug mills to push narcotics onto the public.

i am not for the legalization of narcotics, but if there were such a thing then it would require checks and balances. like not selling guns to a felon.

it is not fascist for the government to police narcotics abuse. go after the dealers and the users to stop an epidemic.

perhaps in your world we should just sell crack to pregnant women.

it is also not fascist for the government to look after public safety.

you can buy guns if your clean, but you ain’t getting a grenade or rocket launcher. that is just plain stupid silly talk you speak.

the war on drugs was never a well conceived bill. like many programs it was a hidden subsidy for companies to sell products and rip off the tax payer….originally started as racist harassment of Latino people in america.

the idea of preventing drugs into our society is good to protect your citizens as well as not enrich your enemies.

        your are a mental clodhopper.

idealism has nothing to do with it. except on your end. these supposed “drug mills” are the legal answer to stopping the filling of prisons. people like to get high. they will always get high. bleeding hearts with good intentions are the problem not the drugs.

    the real point here is:

    medicare is a government program.

it creates problems, just like any government program.

    the solution: “more regulation!!!”

    just like any government program.

I went to a “pain clinic” once for a shot after busting my tailbone snowboarding. The place was shady as hell, people regularly coming in to get pain shots and drugs for the rest of their lives.

The “Doc” went on to tell me he wasn’t trying to overstep my primary doctor but if I came in he would give me a full exam and “help me out”. Pain clinics are a joke – legalized drug dealing.

Don’t get me wrong, if someone wants to waste their life on that shit so be it, but when you have “Doctors” pushing it…

gonna stfu after this. doctors are the answer. this is just the rational way to deal with a small problem. most people will never become a junkie. its pathetic and hard to accomplish. drug war fanatics will never see the truth. they assume everyone will just implode into that fucked way of life. drugs are not that good to most people. way easier just to implode on food or some other lazy shit.

Legalize, tax and regulate all drugs. Stop throwing users into jail for possessing drugs. If people want help kicking drugs, give them help. If they want to use drugs, let them use drugs. The likelihood of them doing bad things to get the drugs is significantly lower if they can walk into a legitimate store and buy them over the counter.

I’m of the opinion that drugs are not the problem, people and their behavior when faced with trying to acquire/sell an illegal substance is the problem. I mean, from what I can gather, the laws are in place to try and prevent people from using drugs. Those laws have obviously failed miserably.
