I just read that they took control of the thing electronically rather than shooting it down. I have not seen substantiation of that claim but if true it brings up some very interesting points of discussion. Not the least of which would be that China will soon know everything there is to know about that particular aircraft.
China probably got it from the two timing Pakistanis a long time ago…or perhaps from the Taliban in Afghanistan.
